GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Here are some milestones and accomplishments achieved recently by college students from the Granbys, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Castleton University, Castleton VT

• Tyler Arsenault of East Granby was recently named to the Castleton University Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2016-17 academic year. To qualify for this academic honor, the student must maintain full-time status and a semester grade point average of 3.5.

Curry College, Milton MA

• Curry College is proud to announce that Zachary Winslow of Granby has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a 3.30 GPA, have no incompletes, and have no grade lower than a "C" for the semester. Full-time students must carry 12 or more graded credits for the semester.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released the names of full-time students who were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. Honorees from Granby are Jonathan Blejewski, Caitlin Daleb, Griffin Hammack and Nicholas Healy.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• The following Granby students were named to the dean's list for academic excellence for the fall 2016 term: Bryce Alexander, Amy Bilodeau, Lily Holm, Lauren Holt, Megan Lira, Frederick Moffa and Jessica Storch.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Granby students making the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester are Faith Cosby and Kathleen Moody.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• A pair of Granby residents were among the more than 1,500 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2016 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the fall semester to make the Dean's List. Granby students are Amanda Jacobs, a junior chemistry major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences, and Emma Percival, a junior early and primary teacher education major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• A pair of students from East Granby have been named to the dean's list at the University of Vermont.
  To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school. Honorees from East Granby are Stephanie Arsenault and Aubrey Koehler.
