Becker College, Worcester MA

• Griffin Barrows of Granby was named to the Becker College Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. Barrows is pursing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Media Design.

Clarkson University, Potsdam NY

• Matt David Hawthorne of Granby, a sophomore majoring in engineering and management, was named a Presidential Scholar for the fall 2016 semester at Clarkson University. Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.

Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta GA

• Emily Henselder of Granby made the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ

• Seton Hall University is pleased to announce that the following local students qualified for the fall 2016 Dean's List: Tess Borsecnik of West Granby and Lauren Mangine of East Granby. To make Dean's List, students must have at least a 3.4 GPA and can get no grade lower than a C.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Kevin Blanchard of East Granby has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the fall 2016 semester. Blanchard is working toward a degree in Computer Science.
  Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.
• Western New England University congratulates 729 students, including two from Granby, named to the fall 2016-2017 Dean's List. Students are named to Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Honorees from Granby are Amanda O'Connor, majoring in Sociology - Crime & Society, and Henry Wix, majoring in Mathematical Sciences.
