GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Here are some recent notable achievements for college students from the Granbys, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

College of Saint Rose, Albany NY

• The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, congratulates Alanna Bergmann of Granby for being named to the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. Bergmann is one of 751 students to achieve this mark of academic excellence. To make the Dean's List, Bergmann had to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, Incomplete or Pass/Fail.

Goodwin College, East Hartford CT

• Granby resident Eileen Kaczor has achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average at Goodwin College for the fall 2016 session, earning a spot on the elite President's List. To qualify for the President's List, a student must be enrolled in at least six credits at Goodwin College and earn perfect marks in all classes.
• Goodwin College announces that 975 students, including two from Granby, achieved Dean's List status for the fall 2016 session. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify. Granby honorees are Jodi D'Angelo and Eileen Kaczor.

Hofstra University, Hempstead NY

• Jessica Manion of Granby excelled during the fall 2016 semester at Hofstra University, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean's List.
