UPDATE: Granby Pole Replacement Delayed Until Tuesday Evening
Work on replacing the damaged utility pole on Route 20 near Woodcliff Drive will now begin at 7 p.m., police say.

Due to the anticipated level of traffic impact, Granby police have said the Route 20 pole replacement will be delayed until after the afternoon rush. The duration estimate is now 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.; lanes will be open in the interim.

Route 20 will be subject to periodic lane closures in the area of Woodcliff Drive over the next six hours due to pole replacement from a motor vehicle crash, Granby police said.
Capt. William Tyler said the accident involved a single vehicle. The driver, who was the sole occupant, was not injured.

There are no indications of driver impairment, Tyler said.
Eversource is on scene to replace the pole, which will take several hours. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution in the area, police said.
