Child Porn, Failure to Appear, And Driving Under the Influence

John Scott Pardee, 48, of an unknown address in Hartford, was arrested by Granby Police under a criminal arrest warrant on April 22 and charged with failure to appear in court for the second time.

Junchai Sorraja, 37, of 123 Old Westfield Road in Granville, MA, was arrested by Granby Police on April 22 after police received a noise complaint on Bank Street in Granby center. Sorraja was charged with driving under the influence of liquor or drugs.  

Kevin T. Lawrence, 25, of 76 West Granby Road in Granby, was arrested by Granby Police on April 23, and charged with non-violent disorderly conduct, after police responded to a domestic call at Lawrence's home.

Granby Police Captain David L. Bourque, 50, of West Suffield, was arrested by State Police on April 26 and charged with possession of child pornography. Bourque was placed on administrative leave on April 11 pending a criminal investigation by the Connecticut State Police Computer Crime and Electronic Evidence Laboratory.  Bourque surrendered himself to state police on April 26 after an investigation revealed thousands of images and videos of child porn. Bourque will remain on administrative leave until the case concludes. Officials have not decided how or when to fill the position.
