EAST GRANBY, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that from 7 pm on Friday, July 21st to 6 am on Monday, July 24th there will be a closure of Route 20 in East Granby to replace a bridge/culvert that carries Route 20 over Muddy Brook near the East Granby Recycling Center and the Granby town line. The project consists of the removal of the existing culvert and the installation of a new Box Culvert under Route 20. The project also involves roadway reconstruction including excavation and paving in the area of the culvert, installation of metal beam rail and plantings. CTDOT will be putting up detour signs and directions by July 8th. Lane Closure Information: Route 20: Road and Bridge closed Friday July 21, 2017 at 7 pm to Monday July 24, 2017 at 6:00 am.
