Colebrook Doctor Clears Up Skincare Questions at Winsted Library Seminar

Renowned skincare expert, Dr. Susanne Harrison, cleared up misconceptions about anti-aging treatments at an informational seminar that was held on January 14 that the Beardsley and Memorial Library in Winsted. Many women were treated to demonstrations and learned how to keep their skin looking young

The workshop covered general skincare and treating conditions such as acne, rosacea, and aging skin. Dr. Harrison discussed the importance of minimizing damage from UV rays and ways to remove dead cells, pollutants, and toxins to achieve a healthier complexion. As a physician, Dr. Harrison uses a holistic approach to smooth and brighten the skin.

“My goal is to take patients off of medications for skin conditions and correct problems using safe, less harsh, plant-based substances,” explained Dr. Harrison, owner of DermaLuxe MD in Colebrook.
