College Notes - Granby, East Granby Students

GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie NY

• Anna Wilson of Granby has been named to the Marist College Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.
  Wilson is a member of the Class of 2021 and is majoring in Communication.

University of Scranton, Scranton PA

• Two Granby residents were among more than 1,650 students named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2018 spring semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List. Amanda R. Jacobs is a senior chemistry major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences, and Emma M. Percival is a senior early and primary teacher education major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies.
