A portion of Route 187 in East Granby is closed Monday morning due to a motor vehicle accident, the Connecticut Department of Transportation web site reports.The accident involving a car crashing into a utility pole was reported at 9:23 a.m. near Hatchet Hill Road, the DOT said.Detours have been set up in the area.
