May 29th CREC Magnet School Informational Meeting Cancelled

Bruce Douglas, Executive Director of the Capital Region Education Council (CREC) has advised the Town that CREC is no longer pursuing a potential Magnet High School site in East Granby.  Mr. Douglas said that CREC was in the earliest stages of site consideration and East Granby was just one of several sites that they were considering.  Mr. Douglas also said that CREC’s continued assessment of options has determined that other sites are in closer alignment with their criteria for a proposed facility.  As a result, the scheduled Informational Meeting that CREC was going to hold for East Granby residents on May 29th at the East Granby High School has been cancelled.
