CT Office of State Ethics
We have many departments within our state's Administration, but one that may be the least understood is the Office of State Ethics.

We have many departments within our state's Administration, but one that may be the least understood is the Office of State Ethics simply because the average citizen may not be aware of its existence or may not be able to determine its role in the overall realm of principles governing CT's code of practices.
Susan Regan, Host of CT Valley Views conducted an in depth interview with Carol Carson, Executive Director of the CT Office of State Ethics to ascertain its role in the Administration and scope of jurisdiction. This department provides the guidelines by which a town may establish its own Ethics Committee and it may "counsel" their board on best management application of the statutes, but it does not, at this time, have any oversight on municipalities.
This show segment will be of interest to every citizen interested in our state's governmental oversight as well as those who are interested in commencing steps to initiate an Ethics Committee for their town.
