CTVV SPEAKS WITH RICK DANIELS, PUBLISHER OF THE HARTFORD COURANT

Publishers of major print media outlets normally comment through their periodicals. However, Susan Regan, host of CT Valley Views was fortunate in having Rick Daniels, Publisher of the Hartford Courant as a recent guest on her TV program.
Seven months into his new position, Mr. Daniels brings a lot to the table of the longest running newspaper in the United States. Rick arrived on the scene as the Courant was celebrating its 250th year in the business with a gala at the Bushnell attended by many of Connecticut’s administration, political, business, media and celebrity VIP’s.
Mr. Daniels, well aware of the paper’s stature in the industry has a clear strategy to not only meet its objectives but hopefully exceed its print and on-line subscriber’s expectations for factual stories, informative articles and insightful commentary.
