Deadline Nearing for Candidate Support Letters in the Granbys
Election Day is just over two weeks away, which usually means a considerable amount of last-minute letters to the editor.

GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Election campaigns are entering the homestretch, and historically that has always meant a flurry of last-minute letters to the editor.
The deadline for candidate support letters is Monday, Oct. 31; correspondence received after that date will not be published.
Granby-East Granby Patch has established some basic rules to which political letter writers should adhere:

- Please focus letters on local and/or state races, not national.
- Acceptable letters regarding political candidates will refer to the positive qualities of the candidate; letters which are considered negative toward a candidate's opponent will be edited or unpublished.
- Patch reserves the right to edit letters for brevity or clarity.
- Email letters, including the writer's name, address and phone, to tim.jensen@patch.com.
