Driver Killed in East Hartland Crash
The single-car crash took place early Monday evening, according to police.
EAST HARTLAND, CT — A local man was killed Monday evening in a single-car crash on Peck Orchard Road, near North Granby.
Gary Delaney, 61, was operating a 2004 Ford F-250 when the vehicle left the northbound side of the roadway and struck a tree somewhere between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., according to a police report.
Rescue personnel from several neighboring districts responded, but Delaney succumbed to his injuries.

An investigation into the crash is continuing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper William Veras of Connecticut State Police-Troop B at 860-626-1820.
