East Granby Bank Robbed Again

The second robbery in two weeks has police searching for a man driving a black Chevy SUV.

For the second time in less than two weeks, an East Granby bank has been robbed at knifepoint.

State police have issued a lookout bulletin for a white male in his 40s or 50s who held up the First National Bank of Suffield at Routes 20 and 187 with a large hunting knife just before 11 a.m.

He is described as about 5-feet-10 with a husky build. He reportedly fled the scene in a black Chevrolet Tahoe.

NBC Connecticut reported East Granby schools were placed in lock-in mode, with all exterior doors secured.

Anyone with information is asked to call local or state police.
