East Granby Farmers Market Announces 2012 Dates, Seeks Business Sponsors

The market, which will be held on Wednesdays this summer, will be extended by two weeks.

The following is a press release

The East Granby Farmers Market will be extended by two weeks this year, beginning on Wednesday, June 20. The market will run again on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Center Shops, on the corner of Routes 20 and 187, in East Granby.

Plans are underway for the 2012 season, following a highly successful market season last year. The Committee is actively seeking business sponsors to help underwrite the Market’s advertising and marketing budget, as well as to make some improvements.  The Market operates as a non-profit, with vendor fees directly benefitting the East Granby Public Library.
