East Granby Farmers Market Set to Open June 20
The market will run again on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Center Shops, corner of Routes 20 and 187.

East Granby Farmers Market is pleased to host its 2012 season opening on Wednesday, June 20. The market will run again on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Center Shops, corner of Routes 20 and 187.
The Market plans a full season of fresh Connecticut grown produce, other locally grown and made products, and great weekly entertainment, including: Rolf Holly (for the National Anthem on opening day); Rolf and John (brass and guitar); Mark Mears & Friends (country music); Anything String (fiddle and guitar); Jack and His Guitar; Francesco Barone (classical guitar); Ryan & Sam of Harmonic Rewalk; and others. Special programs for children, a book signing by noted East Granby author Jennifer Huget, and visits by the East Granby Historical Society 1847 Concord Coach and East Granby Fire Department are also scheduled this season.
Several of last year’s vendors will be returning, with a few new ones. So far, this year’s vendors include: Another Way at Cedar Rock Farm; Beading Adventures; Bethany Homecrafts; Butterfield Farm Company; Chet’s Italian Ice; Copper Hill Farm; George Hall Farm; Hastings Farm; Hemlock Knoll; Jenkins Backyard Garden; Lost Acres Orchard; Lyric Hill Farm; Newgate Farm; Oxen Hill Farm; Sweet Pea Farm; Sweet Wind Farm. Some vendor space is still available, mainly on a week-by-week basis. Vendor information is posted on the Market website at www.egfarmersmarket.com.

Our business sponsors provide funds for advertising and other publicity for the Market. Proceeds from vendor fees directly benefit the East Granby Public Library.
