East Granby Memorial Tree Lighting Scheduled
The fourth annual Jacky Welsh Memorial Christmas Tree lighting will happen in December.

The fourth annual Jacky Welsh Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting in East Granby has been scheduled.
The event will take place Dec. 5 at East Granby Town Hall at 6 p.m. The Marquis of Granby will lead off the dedication ceremony.
The ceremony is in memory of loved ones and laminated snowflake ornaments for families will be provided so they can write the name of a loved one to be hung on the tree this year.

There will also be holiday carols, and refreshments.
The ceremony will be held rain, snow or shine and East Granby Parks and Recreation encourages people to bring a flashlight.
