
Beverly E Boya, 79, of East Granby, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital.
Beverly was born in Searcy, Arkansas on March 2, 1938 and was the daughter of the late William and Bertie Edwards. Beverly had two careers, twenty five years at Connecticut Bank and Trust and twenty three plus years at Combustion Engineering. She graduated from Bulkeley High School Class of 1956.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 59 years David, her son Mark Boya and his wife Teresa and her daughter Lori Lusardi and her husband Stephen. She had four grandsons of whom she was very proud and cherished; Michael Boya and his wife Sophie, Kevin Boya and his fiancée Emily, Tim Lusardi and Dan Lusardi. Beverly is predeceased by her brother Leroy and her sisters Mildred and Billie. She also leaves her sisters in law Margaret, Jackie and Barbara. Beverly leaves a cherished niece Linda with whom she had a special bond, nieces Gayle, Robin, Sara, Amanda and nephews David, Patrick, Danny and Matthew.

Beverly has a large extended family from the Albany New York area with whom she shared many wonderful times. She also leaves her special lifelong friend Mary Ann Luzzi along with an abundant group of amazing, caring friends with whom she was very close with.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Chi Kim, the staff of St Francis Hospital, St Mary’s Home and Interim Health Care who gave Beverly such special care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at St Joseph Church, 1747 Poquonock Avenue, Windsor. Burial will be private with the family.
Donations may be made in Beverly’s memory to Northwest Catholic High School of West Hartford or to a charity of your choice.
