East Granby Obituary: Frederick Bednaz, Jr., 60

Frederick Edward Bednaz, Jr., 60, of Suffield, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 20, 2016 at his home.

Born August 22, 1955 in Hartford son of Yolanda (Petrone) Bednaz and the late Fred E. Bednaz, he lived in Suffield most of his life, he had lived in East Granby for a time as well. Fred was a member of Sacred Heart Church and was an usher at the 9:30 Mass on Sundays. In the apartment complex he lived in he was always helpful to the rest of the tenants.

Besides his mother he is survived by three siblings, Donna Mockalis and her husband Greg of NC, Patricia Cafarelli and her husband Barry of FL, Steven Bednaz and his wife Roxane of Suffield; four children, Christopher Bednaz, Cassandra Rozanski and her husband Kevin, Tracy Bistany and her husband ChickJohn, Jesse Bednaz and Lindsey Aeschliman; and the mother of his children, Ann Marie Romano; and many other extended family and friends.

His family will receive friends Monday, March 28, 2016 from 4:30-6:30 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield, followed by a memorial service at 6:30 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home.
