Geraldine (Boucher) Cyr, 73, of East Granby, beloved wife of Gerald H. Cyr passed away at her home Thursday, April 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 4, 1942 in Quebec, Canada daughter of the late Liguori and Maria (Lavoie) Boucher she had lived in East Granby for the past 51 years. Geraldine was employed by CBS Manufacturing before retiring, she was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Poquonock; she enjoyed crocheting and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She took most pride in her family; she was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Besides her husband Gerald of 54 years, she is survived by her three children, David Cyr and his wife Daphne of N. Granby, Linda Masson and her husband Renaud of East Granby, Sandra Cyr of Amherst, VA; her six grandchildren, Steven, Scott, Alexander, Katie, Jeffrey and Zachary; her one great grandchild, Gemma; her six brothers and one sister and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Her family will receive friends Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1-3 PM at Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Ave. (Rt. 75), Poquonock section of Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 25, 2016, 11 AM, at St. Joseph Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave., Poquonock section of Windsor. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
