East Granby Obituary: Lynn Lamson, 43

Lynn Marie (Ayers) Lamson, 43, of Manchester, loving wife of Mark A. Lamson died tragically on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.

Lynn was born on March 26, 1974 in Rochester, NY beloved daughter of Cheryl (Loftin) Beenhouwer. She was raised in Rochester, attended local schools and earned her BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University in New York. Lynn was employed as a materials manager for over 20 years for EGS Electrical Group in East Granby.

In addition to her husband Mark, Lynn leaves her mother Cheri Beenhouwer and her step-father Ed of Rochester, her daughter Amy Sumsion of Manchester, two sons; Benjamin Lamson of Manchester and Dustin Lamson of Westfield, MA, her sister Christine Pratt of Rochester, NY and her in-laws Alan and Janet Lamson of Manchester. She also leaves many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and their families and her longtime best friend Sara Beck-Latina of Durham.

Lynn loved spending time with friends and family, camping, doing DIY projects around the house and spending time curled up with her beautiful puppy Trinity. She was always there to help friends out when they needed it, and was one of the most caring, loving and giving person any of us have known.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a time of visitation at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home 400 Main St. in Manchester on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 from 6-8 pm. Burial will be private in East Cemetery, Manchester.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
