East Granby Obituary: Michael Brunelle, 54

Michael Saul Brunelle, 54, of East Windsor, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015.

Born in Hartford, son of the late Joseph and Eileen (Majeska) Brunelle, Jr., he was raised in East Granby where he graduated from East Granby High School in 1979, He lived in Granby most of his life. He had been employed by The Overhead Door Company of Hartford for over 20 years. Mike enjoyed sports and was an avid bowler and golfer. He had been club champion at both Ellington Ridge and Copper Hill Golf Clubs.

He leaves his daughter Stacy Brunelle and a son Michael Brunelle and their mother Lisa Hofmann Burnelle all of Granby; his sisters Debra Baron and her husband Frank of Windsor Locks and Joan Brunelle of Vernon; along with six nieces, two nephews, grand nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Joe, a sister Barbara and a niece.

His family will receive friends Monday, September 21, 2015 from 4-7 PM followed by a life celebration service at 7 PM at the Hayes Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook Street, Granby. Burial will be private in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Tariffville.
