Car Break-in - Lock your cars, remove your valuables, take your keys

Please note that there has been a marked statewide increase in car break-ins including East Granby and other neighboring towns. Be Aware! In the past week there have been crimes of opportunity where car doors have been unlocked and valuables have been left inside and unsecured. The Connecticut State Police recommends some simple precautions: remove your valuables, take your keys, lock you can and when in doubt contact the police on any suspicious activities.
