East Granby Veterans Day Dinner
The Resilience Grows Here Committee honor Veterans at the East Granby Senior and Community Center
A Veterans Day dinner honoring town vets was held last night at the East Granby Community Center. The dinner was put on by the Resilience Grows Here Committee and other town volunteers. Close to 70 veterans and spouses attended. Veterans who attended served their country in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan. It was my privilege to read a proclamation thanking all veterans from all eras for their service to our country.
