SIMSBURY, CT. – December 2, 2014 – It’s not too late to get your flu shot! Simsbury Bank, in conjunction with the Farmington Valley VNA, will be holding a Flu Vaccine Clinic on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Simsbury Bank, 11 Hartford Avenue in Granby.

“We are pleased to be able to provide this service to residents and do what we can to keep everyone healthy this winter season”, said Peter Sepelak, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of Simsbury Bank.

The available vaccines are Regular Trivalent Flu and Regular Quadrivalent Flu. There will also be High Dose Flu vaccines which are recommended for anyone over age 65. Additionally, pneumonia Vaccines will be available and may be given at the same time as the flu vaccine.

The following types of insurance are accepted: Medicare: Part B as Primary Insurance Carrier; Connecticare - Regular Insurance; Cigna; Aetna - Regular and Medicare (no plans beginning with 00); and Anthem BC/BS - Regular Insurance Only (No plans beginning with XGH XGK).

For more information or to make an appointment, please call the Farmington Valley VNA at 860-653-5514, Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Walk-ins are also welcome. Participants must be 9 years or older.
