Learn how to start the conversation about important healthcare decisions with loved ones, as well as the different types of advance directives (or road maps to plan care) available. Also gain perspective on the most effective ways to make decisions when diagnosed with a serious illness, and the various options for care. Literature and resources will be provided.
Presented by Bonnie Lillis, from McLean Home Health Care & Hospice. Bonnie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. She has served as a Hospice Spiritual and Bereavement Counselor at McLean since 2008, providing patient and family support at the end of life, facilitating bereavement support groups, and hosting community outreach lectures.
