Getting It Done In The Classroom: College Students From The Granbys

GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted in the coming weeks.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University recently released its Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester, in which nearly 1,300 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs.
  Among the students are Logan French and Kristian Kowalski, both of East Granby, and Aidan Hennessy, Grady Kelly and Chelsea Newton, all of Granby. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Five local students were named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. They are Anthony Delprincipe of East Granby, who is in the computer science program; Jonathan Ciottone of East Granby, who is in the game design and development program; Jake Peverly of Granby, who is in the computing security program; Garrett Thompson of Granby, who is in the computing security program; and Aria Kingsley of West Granby, who is in the studio arts program. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

St. Lawrence University, Canton NY

• St. Lawrence University congratulates more than 600 students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2022 semester. including Charlotte Michaud of East Granby, a member of the Class of 2026, and Natalie Schock of West Granby, a member of the Class of 2025 who is majoring in biomedical sciences.

Tufts University, Medford MA

• Tyler Mackowski of Granby, Class of 2025, was named to the dean's list at Tufts University for the fall 2022 semester. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the fall 2022 Dean's List, including five local students: Nick DeFranzo and Hannah Martin of East Granby, and Natalie Crose, Alynne Gallion and Julia McHugh, all of Granby. To be included on the Dean's List, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average.
