There were 13 high school girls basketball games involving teams from Hartford and Tolland counties played Tuesday night.

Girls basketball teams continued opening their seasons Tuesday night, with squads from the North Central Connecticut Conference among those making their 2016-17 debut.

There were 13 games Tuesday that involved teams from Hartford and Tolland counties. Here are the results:
