State tournament action got underway Monday for girls basketball teams throughout the state. Classes LL and M played their opening games Monday, with Classes L and S scheduled to kick off Tuesday. Fourteen schools based in Patch towns in Hartford and Tolland counties were in action; here are those results, with second-round matchups for victorious local teams.
