A recent inspection by the state Department of Public Health of a Granby day care center resulted in an $800 fine for inadequate supervision of children and failure to maintain its facilities, according to the <a href="http://www.newhavenindependent.org/index.php/health/entry/granby_day_care_center_fined/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">New Haven Independent</a>. The Patchwork Schoolhouse was fined by the state after an inspector witnessed three children unattended in a room, and inadequate staffing, the Independent reported.
