Granby, East Granby Set For Girls Basketball Tournaments
The Bears and Crusaders have qualified for state tournament play, according to the brackets released Wednesday morning.
GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — The road to Mohegan Sun starts Monday and Tuesday, as Granby Memorial, East Granby and 128 other high school girls basketball teams begin their quests for state championships in the CIAC tournaments.
Granby Memorial (15-5) is seeded eighth in Class M, and will host No. 25 Morgan (10-10) Monday at 7 p.m.
East Granby (9-11), the No. 25 seed in Class S, visits No. 8 Bolton (14-6) Tuesday at 7 p.m.
