Granby, East Granby Spring Sports: Past Titles, 2018 Schedule
A look at the state championship history in spring sports at Granby Memorial and East Granby, as well as the schools' 2018 spring schedules.
GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Despite more snow in the Wednesday forecast, today is the first day of spring, and with the winter sports season now behind us, it is time to look ahead to a multitude of spring sports, and rekindle the optimism that a championship season is on the horizon. Practice is now underway for all seven CIAC-sanctioned spring sports in Connecticut, with track and field being the last to start on Monday.
Granby Memorial and East Granby high schools have experienced limited success during the spring campaign, with five state titles dating back to 1979 for the Bears, and the Crusaders seeking their first spring banner. Here are the state championships won by Granby in the past, as well as a link to this spring's schedule of contests for both schools.
