Granby Gets Support in Preseason Softball Poll
The Bears are seeking to improve on last season, when they advanced to the Class M quarterfinals.

GRANBY, CT — An outstanding 17-3 regular season record in 2017 was marred by a third-round loss in the Class M state tournament, but the Granby Memorial High School softball team is looking to improve on that standard.
The Bears received a considerable amount of support from voters in preseason balloting of coaches and media members.
Defending Class M champion Seymour, which eliminated Granby in the 2017 quarterfinals, collected nine of 13 first-place votes to pace the initial balloting. Southington, which garnered the other four top votes, was second.
