Granby Girls Volleyball to Hold Annual Dig Pink Event

The annual fundraising event is held to raise awareness, and funds, to find a cure for cancer.

An announcement from the Granby Girl’s Volleyball Team:

Granby Volleyball is holding their third annual Dig Pink event, in conjunction with SMSA high school, on Thursday, October 23, 2014.

The theme for this year is: “Today I play.” The girls are playing in honor of someone they know that has, or has had, breast cancer. The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Dig Pink foundation that supports research for a cure.

The event will start at 4 p.m. with the Junior Varsity Team. The undefeated Varsity team is scheduled for 5:30. Funds will be raised from a tasty bake sale and a suggested donation of $2.00 for the game. The donations are then combined with the monies raised by the SMSA team at their Dig Pink event.

Please come out and support the team in their efforts to find a cure.
