Granby Grange #5 is sponsoring a Series of Saturday evening outings to “Lake Quassy” Amusement Park to benefit our building maintenance fund (We need regular income to continue to operate.)
If you like amusement parks with short or no lines, come to the Grange Hall (212 North Granby Road – CT Rt. 189 North) on alternate Saturdays starting July 9th and again on July 23rd before 4:00 PM. The package includes a ride to and from the park and admission for all rides for $15.00 per person. The space is limited to the first 8 -12 persons to show up at the Grange Hall for the ride. There is room for one wheelchair bound person, and the park is mostly wheelchair or walker friendly.
Lake Quassy” is an amusement and waterpark in Middlebury, CT. It has 22 rides on its 20 acres. Quassy is considered "one of the last of the old-time trolley parks". It has been a staple in Connecticut entertainment for over 100 years.

The park closes at 10:00 PM and the bus will depart by 10:15 PM for the return to the Grange Hall.
The park food concessions are reasonably priced if you wish to plan supper there rather than dining before going.

“Lake Quassy” park has things of interest for the whole family including a small Water park, swimming, (Those close at 7:00 PM), boat rides, paddle boats and the usual array of games and rides.
