Granby Home Catches Fire

No injuries were reported, as all occupants got out safely, according to police.

GRANBY, CT — A house caught fire on Rickwood Lane Friday morning, with all occupants escaping uninjured.

Capt. William Tyler said police and fire units responded to the blaze at 6:52 a.m. Rickwood Lane is a dead end street; therefore, no traffic issues were created.

Firefighters received assistance from East Hartland, East Granby, Simsbury, Southwick, Mass. and the Air National Guard at Bradley Airport, Tyler said.

No further information was immediately available. The fire marshal’s office is investigating, Tyler said.
