Granby Improves Ranking in State Field Hockey Poll
The Bears finished the regular season with a 14-1-1 record.

For the third straight week, Enfield topped the Connecticut high school field hockey poll by drawing first-place votes from five coaches. The lone remaining undefeated, untied team in the state, the Eagles (15-0) have amassed 79 goals while allowing just two.
Greenwich (14-2) placed second in the balloting, collecting three first-place votes.
Granby Memorial (14-1-1), which moved up a spot to eighth in the most recent poll, shut out high-scoring South Windsor 1-0 on Tuesday to finish the regular season.

Here are the top 10, plus all other schools receiving votes, with records through Oct. 31.

- Granby Memorial (14-1-1)

Also receiving votes: Staples (11-2-0-1), Wilton (11-4-0-1), Glastonbury (12-2-0-1), Immaculate (13-1-1-1), Pomperaug (13-1-2).
