Granby Memorial, East Granby Winter Sports Schedules Set to Begin: Each Team's Openers
Here are the first scheduled regular season contests for the six winter varsity teams at Granby and four at East Granby.
GRANBY-EAST GRANBY, CT — Since last week, winter teams have been practicing at Granby Memorial and East Granby high schools, and soon the regular season schedule will kick off.
Here are the scheduled official opening contests for each Bear and Crusader varsity squad.

- wrestling - Wednesday, Dec. 14, Somers at Granby, 6 p.m.
- boys and girls indoor track - Friday, Dec. 16, Granby at Hillhouse Invitational, 4 p.m.
- girls basketball - Friday, Dec. 16, Granby at Suffield, 7 p.m.
- boys basketball - Tuesday, Dec. 20, Granby at Ellington, 7 p.m.
- ice hockey - Wednesday, Dec. 21, Suffield/Granby/Windsor Locks at Conard, 7:30 p.m.
EAST GRANBY
- girls basketball - Tuesday, Dec. 13, Bolton at East Granby, 7 p.m.
- wrestling - Saturday, Dec. 17, Suffield/Windsor Locks/East Granby at Pomperaug Tournament, 10 a.m.
- ice hockey - Saturday, Dec. 17, Enfield/East Granby/Stafford at Westhill/Stamford, 4:30 p.m.
- boys basketball - Tuesday, Dec. 20, East Granby at Somers, 7 p.m.
