Granby Memorial Has Placewinners at Indoor Track Championships

The CIAC indoor track and field championships were conducted Thursday through Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Granby Memorial High School had a pair of athletes turn in outstanding showings in the CIAC Class S indoor track and field championships at the Floyd Little Athletic Center.

Keon Lawrence was second in the boys long jump, while Nicole Szilagyi placed third in the girls 55 meter hurdles.

The championships were held Thursday through Saturday: Class L on Thursday, Class M on Friday and Classes LL and S on Saturday. Click the class headers for complete results.

The State Open will also take place at the Floyd Little Athletic Center on Saturday, Feb. 17.
