Granby Native Becomes Granby Police Officer

Erin Michele Tanucci started her career with the Granby Police Department on Monday.

Officer Tanucci was raised in Granby and graduated from Granby Memorial High School. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Hartford.

She is leaving her position as head track and soccer coach for the Region 15 school district at Pomperaug High School in Southbury. Officer Tanucci currently lives in Plantsville with her husband Joseph and their 9 year old son, John.
