Donald R. Naples, 71, of Granby, beloved husband of Kathleen (Villiers) Naples, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Hartford Hospital.
Born in New Britain to the late Joseph and Anna Mary (Warzocha) Naples, he was raised in New Britain and lived in Bristol before settling in Granby over 25 years ago. Donald served his country proudly with the US Army National Guard during the Vietnam War. He worked as a store manager with various grocery stores before starting his own mortgage broker firm, First Choice Financial.
Donald was a member of the NRA and the Mortgage Brokers Association and he enjoyed golfing, playing pool and Beagle rescue, but his true passion was his family. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren and relished the yearly vacations with them to the Outer Banks in North Carolina.
