Granby Obituary: Francis Trotter, 99

Francis C. Trotter, age 99, passed away quietly on January 17, 2016 at Masonicare in Wallingford. Previously Francis was a resident of Lakeland, FL and North Granby.

He was predeceased by his wife Carolyn Edwards, his parents Alfred Trotter and Marie Kraus and his siblings Eva Whitney and Edward Trotter. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Francis served in the US Army overseas in WWII and then later as an expert design draftsman in helicopter maintenance for many years. He was a member of the Masons for more than 50 years and was the proud recipient of several Masonic awards and commendations.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Black Rock Congregational Church 3685 Black Rock Turnpike Fairfield. Reception immediately following at the church hall. Interment will be private.
