Granby Obituary: James Regan, 70

Condolences to his family and friends.

James V. Regan, 70, of Granby, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 02, 2015 at his home.

Born in Hartford to the late Charles and Delia (Kane) Regan, he was a Granby resident for almost 50 years. James was first a printer before becoming the talented woodworker known as “Da Bench Man”. He enjoyed his dog Rocky, fishing, snowmobiling and race cars, both as an owner and a sponsor. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his brothers Charles J. Regan of Avon and Frank J. Regan of New York; his sister Patricia Ryan of Avon; many nieces and nephews including a special nephew Terry Ryan and his wife Jenna of Avon.

His family would like to extend a special thank you to his nurse Elaine Masley for her compassionate care of James.

Services and burial will be private.
