
Joyce H. Laverdiere, 79, of North Granby, beloved wife of the late Norman O. Laverdiere passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015.
Born April 9, 1936 in Fairfield, VT daughter of the late Clayton and Ethel (Nolan) Hull. She grew up in VT on a dairy farm and when she moved to North Granby in 1960 she and her husband operated a dairy farm in North Granby. Joyce most recently was working at Blue Fox Rock & Bowl in Simsbury. She enjoyed bowling, horseshoes and she was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
She is survived by a son, Norman N. Laverdiere of North Granby; two daughters, Gail Bage of Ash, NC, Sheryl Macaulay of East Granby; a brother, Irving Hull of Windsor Locks; two sisters, Rita Fortin of Spencer, MA, Beverly Balbi of Windsor Locks; six grandchildren, Danny J. Macaulay, Brad Bage, Amy Macaulay-Wild, Bobby Macaulay, Stefanie Orenstein, Kristie Laverdiere; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends Monday, November 16, from 5-7 PM at Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 17, 11 AM at Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, East Granby.
