Granby Obituary: Kristopher Kinney, 46

Kristopher J.D. Kinney, 46, of Deltona, FL was reunited with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Kris was born April 1, 1971, in Hartford and attended local schools in Granby. He was a graduate of Granby Memorial High School Class of 1989. Shortly after high school Kris moved to FL.

He enjoyed scuba diving in the beautiful waters of Florida when ever time allowed. Kris was recently employed as a card dealer at the Fort Pierce Jai Alai and Casino, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda (York) Press and her husband, Fred of Windsor Locks; his sister, Danielle Kinney-Hayes and her husband, Pratt of Sebastian, FL and her daughter, Alexandria Kinney; an aunt Mildred Perkette of Glastonbury. Kris was predeceased by his father, James Kinney.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family during visiting hours on Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 9 am to 10 am at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service celebrating Kristopher's life will begin at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery in Enfield.
