Granby Obituary: Kurt Wagner, 54

Kurt F. Wagner, 54, of Granby, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home.

He was born March 15, 1962 in Hartford to the late Arno G. and Lisa (Fiel) Wagner. A graduate of Granby High School, Kurt was a printing press operator, most recently with Federal Direct. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, a collector of sports and military memorabilia, vinyl records, old toys and photos of cars. He lived a simple life and kept a close knit group of friends.

He is survived by his brother, Erik W. Wagner of Granby; his sister, Nora E. Beaulieu of South Windsor; and his nephew, Jason Beaulieu of South Windsor.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 11 a.m. at the Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby. Burial will follow in Granby Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service.
