On Monday, April 10, 2017, we lost our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and hero to his kids. Kyle Roger Courser, 34, of Granby, son of Robert and Kathleen Courser, was born on November 28, 1982, in Hartford. He was raised in Granby and attended Granby Memorial High School.
After high school, he and his friend, Jason Landheer, both sons of carpenters, started 2nd Generation Carpentry. He worked throughout the Farmington Valley remodeling homes and was well-known for his meticulous attention to detail. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his ATV and motorcycle, spending summers at his family's cottage in Charlestown, RI, and in recent years bowling on Wednesdays.
He loved his friends and thought of them as family and always enjoyed having a good time and living life "full-throttle". Kyle always joked and commonly referred to his father as "Old Man", his mother as "Ma", and his "Outlaws" as "Pops" and Nancy. Most of all, Kyle will be remembered as a family man who enjoyed spending every minute with his wife and children.
