Granby Obituary: Lorraine Parent, 87

Lorraine (Letendre) Parent, 87, of Manchester and formerly of Granby, widow of the late Arthur S. Parent, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening (Feb. 2, 2016).

Born Feb. 17, 1928 in East Hartford, she was the last surviving child of the late Francis and Alice (Biron) Letendre.

She leaves four children, Lynette, Lorelee, Arthur and Michael; five grandchildren, Marceline, Jessica, Sabrina, Sydney and Neci; several great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends. In addition to her husband of 60 years, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Marceline; a grandson, Airk Moreau; two great grandchildren, Ashley and Jesus Rosa; and three siblings, Blanche, Ruth and Albert.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be announced and observed in the near future. Burial will be private in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.
