Granby Obituary: Randy Seidman, 45

Condolences to his family and friends.

Randy William Seidman, 45, of Granby, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 6, 2017.

Born in Hartford on May 9, 1972, son of Randy Wayne Seidman of Windham and Susan Margret Werth of Granby, he was raised in Granby and had lived in East Hartland for many years before moving back to Granby three years ago.

Randy was a graduate of New England Technical Institute where he studied to be an electrician. He started his career at Able Electric in Bloomfield and had also worked at Newington Electric and most recently at Aerotek.

He was a parishioner of St. Bernard Church in Tariffville for many years. In his spare time, Randy enjoyed reading about world religions and being in the great outdoors, hiking, riding ATV’s, or just relaxing outside his home. Most of all, he will be remembered for his love and devotion to his son and daughter.

He leaves his parents, Randy Wayne Seidman and his companion Christine Hanauer of Windham and Susan Margret Werth of Granby; his two children, Julian William Seidman and Analeigh Blair Seidman both of East Hartland; his former spouse and the mother of his children, April Renee Seidman of East Hartland; an uncle, William “Bill” Werth of Agawam, MA; an aunt, Sherri Seidman of Boiling Springs, NC; five cousins, Heather Garabedian and her husband James of Andover, Heidi Spring of East Hampton, Laurie Calverly of Windsor Locks, William Werth, Jr. of Enfield, Frances Young of Boiling Springs, NC; and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by an aunt, Kathy M. Spring; and an uncle, John Leo Werth.

His family will receive friends on Friday, October 13, 4-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., at the Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby. Burial will be private.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army, Attn: Hartford Adult Rehabilitation Center, 333 Homestead Ave., Hartford, CT 06112.
